Hi, everyone. I’ll be honest and say I don’t know that you guys will be able to help me. I’ve been looking for this movie since prior to the existence of the Internet itself and have, unfortunately, made absolutely zero progress.

 

The problem is that I have never actually seen the film. I remember watching the trailer for it when I was about 7 or 8. It was a horror film of some sort and I begged and pleaded with my mother to take me to the theater so that I could watch it. My parents, being the sensible individuals that they were, absolutely refused.

 

The trailer begins with a man standing at the foot of a stairway. The camera perspective is such that the stairs begin at the bottom of the screen and go to the top rather than going from left to right or vice versa. To the best of my recollection, there is a handrail on the right hand side. At the top of the stairs is a closed door leading to another room. The voice over begins with the phrase “At the top of these stairs is a door. Behind this door is a nightmare.” It then goes into a number of individual shots just as you would expect in any other film trailer.

 

That’s unfortunately all I can remember and that’s why I say I’m afraid you may not be able to help me. I recognize that this is precious little information to go on, so I’d completely understand if it is not enough to ring any bells with anyone. I’d like to think that one day I will finally find this film, but at this point I am starting to rather lose hope.

 

I am crossing my fingers in hopes that someone here can perform the impossible.

CartoonNetwork?. Children abducted to underworld

Around the year 2010, I watched a tv station that might have been Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon. I lived in Louisiana at the time, and I am pretty sure this wasn’t on LPB, PBS or Disney Channel. My memory is probably way off.

I’m not sure if it was an episode of a cartoon or just a “short.” I’m also not sure if it aired during Halloween. A boy got into bed for the night. I can’t remember what happened. But I know people were abducting children in the local area. Maybe both boys and girls. The children’s beds were coming to life like quadrupeds to carry the children to a hole into the underworld. I’m assuming this hole must have opened in the ground. I don’t think it was a sewer. I’m honestly not sure how they got the kids outside. I guess their beds ran out the door or flew through the window. One of the abductors was a girl. I think she was dressed like a Mongolian or Samauri warrior or maybe a ninja…? It was a mostly black outfit. Maybe some red. I think her hair was black. She got onto the bed of the main-character boy and puckered her lips like she wanted to kiss him. I’m not sure if he reciprocated her advance. He might have been afraid of her. His bed jumped into the big, dark hole bringing them into the underworld. Many other beds with children on them did the same thing.

I remember being horrified by this as a kid. I especially feel bad for the young audience it was intended for. This whole thing could have been just a nightmare of the boy.

I remember this one scene for this early 90’s movie (or maybe episode of something). A family is moving to a new home in the mountains or a swampy area (I think).

As they are pulling into a wooded area, towing their trailer, they see a sign on a tree that says “No hunting, except [troglodytes] ” I am sure that troglodyte is not the right word. After reading this, the dad says something like ” I wonder if that means we can only hunt them, or only they are allowed to hunt here.

There is some sort of monster hunting here (I think it can blend in or become invisible). That is all I remember, but this group has been great at solving these for me!  Do your thing!

There was a movie that was on HBO or Cinemax back in the late 90’s that I caught flipping through channels and it had something to do with two outlaw white men being after a treasure or something. The movie took place in the U.S.A. and one guy had short brown hear and the other had shoulder length blonde hair. When they cross paths they exchange automatic rifle fire at each other. The guy with the brown hair having a M16 A2 and the blonde guy had a AK47. The guy with the brown hair fired first and the blonde guy told him to stop shooting at him and fired a burst of his AK47 back at him. Eventually they get whatever it is they are looking for and the blonde guy gets greedy and kills the guy with the brown hair. The movie looked pretty low budget but might have been good. Anybody know the name of the movie.

This was a tv show episode.

I think it was from the late 90s or early 2000s.

I cant remember if the series itself was comedic, or if I just happened to stumble with a comedic episode.

A therapist was manipulating her patients, and, in some times, also seducing them.

A group of investigators tried to plant people in order to expose her.

During the final scene, it was revealed that the old man working at the agency was also one of the people who were able to score a point and have sex with the therapist.

Desert scene with women and a danger lurking.

I only vaguely remember one scene.

 

A group of women are  on the run, late in the movie, after surviving what seemed like a scary ordeal (so, likely a horror movie of sorts). They are all on a car.

The place looks like a desert. It is sunny.

Then some young  blonde from the group would carefully investigate something right in front of the car, on a desert scenario, while the others waited nervously. The scene seemed like a setup for a jump scare.

From the looks of it, it may have been late 90s, but most likely between 2004 and 2014.

It seemed like a cheap scary movie featuring scantily clothed women.

Please help i saw that movie maybe 5 years ago. It was about demons i guess. when the demon took over the person’s neck or the back of the head began to itch (I don’t remember). Then something black appeared on the neck. When a person was dying, the demon took over the other. I remember a scene where a man was running in the forest and fell headfirst on something sharp and died.

I was very young maybe 5 (I’m 55 now) but I remember getting up late at night and going to sit with my mom in the livingroom.  She was watching an old movie about a man who is a surgeon who has to operate on his son to remove a key from his body that will unlock the chains and free him before acid or something gets through this is let loose all over him from this elaborate tubing system above him.  It will pour onto his face if the surgeon doesn’t get the key out and move him in time.  Any know this film?

When I was young, in the 2000s, I used to watch a movie (in color) about a group of pirate/explorer living some adventures on the sea.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember much about it.

However I remember well a scene that made a big impact on me when I was young.

At one point in the film, the pirate ship sinks and the pirates are forced to take to the longboats. The pirates are stranded at sea for several days without drinking water. At one point, one of the pirates breaks down and (this is what marked me) starts drinking seawater, despite the warnings of his comrades. In my memory, the pirate was happy to have finally been able to drink water. Some time later, the pirate dies of dehydration.

I don’t remember if this movie is a specific pirate movie or just a movie taking place in this period of time.

I’m sorry if I can’t be more specific but these are the only memories of this movie that I have now. And the fact that I don’t remember it has haunted me for a while now.

What I can say is that this film isn’t “In the Heart of the Sea” with Chris Hemsworth which was released in 2015. Moreover the movie that I’m searching for isn’t particularly a kid movie.

Old comedy (French, Italian or English) where wife coming home and see her husband with another women in the bed. She is shocked, starting to ask different questions, like “Who is it?”, husband is answering with the same questions, like “Where?”. Wife is keep going: “What is she doing here?”, husband “Who?”… and etc. Young lady is keep dressing up and leaving, at the end the end husband just acting like nothing happened.
I saw this small episode in tik tok/instagram, it was in English.

I don’t know when this movie was made, I watched it on TV about 10 years ago but I don’t even remember, if it was in black and white or in colour. It could be from the 1950s, but that’s just a guess.

I don’t remember much about the main plot of the movie but I remember that a friend (male) of the male lead was considered a womanizer and a woman, who ends up becoming a friend of both the male lead and the female lead, is taking some self-esteem classes because she always ended up having problems with men(we never see her go to the classes in the movie, she ‘s always just telling other people about them). One of those classes suggested taking an insterest and pursuing it and she chose to take drum lessons(again we don’t see her taking lessons in the movie but we see her play only once). One time she plays in front of the male lead’s friend accompanied by a jazz band and he ends up being very impressed by her. I also remember that she when she met the male lead she gifted him (or the child of the main lead, I dont remember) a tie with a little painting of her in a bikini because the self-esteem classes told her to try new things.

I also remember that one time towards the end, this woman asks the female lead if she thought the male lead’s friend was interested in her and, if yes, why wasn’t he making any move. Of course these two end up together at the end, exactly like the male lead and the female lead.

I don’t really remember anything about the main plot but I’m going to try to give you some information, that I think could be the main plot, but it could also be about an entire different movie. So if this plot sounds familiar to you but doesn’t have the subplot I’m talking about it means I’m probably just mixing 2 different movies together. I think the male lead’s child was traumatized by the death of his mother and, even though everything seems fine with him during the movie, after seeing his fish dead in his bowl he screams for a long time and his father ends up slapping him. I think the female lead who lives next to their apartment ends up consoling the child and at the end she’ll become his mother and the male lead’s wife. I also think that at a certain point the child goes to summer camp and there he tells his father that he likes a girl that others mock because she’s chubby. Also, there might be an old woman who helps around the house and that is learning Spanish with some tapes while she does her chores.

The action movie filmed in early 2010.

A scene that is imprinted in my memory was shot gorgeously, when around the corner of a house somewhere in America there was a shootout between the main characters and, possibly, the police or bandits. The main character there, as far as I remember, wore a corduroy shirt, with rolled up sleeves, jeans and tattoos; he was a war veteran I think. White, with light stubble, it seems to me. Not a very famous actor, but he often appeared in Hollywood movies. The scene was shot no worse than John Wick. There was a Kalashnikov in his hand. At the end of the film I remember there was some kind of attic and a shootout where his friend was wounded. I don’t remember the plot at all. Application and denouement too.

America, the year of release coincides with the events in the film.

I don’t know English very well, and if I write something wrong, please forgive me. So, I watched this movie many years ago when I was a child, and I remember some moments. I think there was a guy and a girl. They end up in a place where strange creatures live. I remember a moment where these creatures chase the couple. The couple runs away, and the guy takes a rose out of a bag. He stops and shows the rose to these creatures to stop them. I also remember that there’s a guy with a laptop following the couple, giving them directions on where to go. I also recall a moment where the girl trims the leaves of a rose, and smoke comes out of the leaves. The screen darkens. Then, next to this girl, the head of one of those creatures appears in the frame. I might be wrong in my description as I hardly remember the movie. Thanks in advance for your response.

I was around 5 when I saw this on TV at a relatives house so it might have been a movie or TV series airing on tv during the mid to late 90s. Was in color. Kind of had vibes like Tank Girl if I can recall.

There was a scene where a male friend of the main character guy and lady was fighting earlier and lost to these creatures that attached something bad to the back of his neck to make him all pale and not good anymore. When he met up with the main character and lady the scene showed him getting a knife ready behind his back to stab the main character with as they approached him. It didn’t work and they ended up killing the guy and when he fell foreword on the floor you could see the parasite thing attached to the back of his neck.

I think this was the same movie / show, details very blurry but after that there was a scene where a Death like figure in black was guarding a forked path of two doorways or portals or something and the main char went in one of the paths to find this evil woman with super long fingernails.

Been trying to find this for years! Any help would me amazing!

The movie or series episode is probably from the 80s or late 70s… it’s a couple who is about to move out from their apartment. On the last night before moving out (while most of their belongings but the bedroom stuff has already been moved out) they hear noises outside their bedroom during the night, and every time they go out, they see the same old couple and the husband is always killing/trying to kill his wife… this goes on the entire night until the next morning. When they meet the new couple moving in and it’s the same older couple they saw in their nightmares

I was about 5 or 6 when I saw it, so mid 1990’s.

It was in English.

It was on TV, but it was movie length.

It was in color.

I know it was made sometime in the 80s or 90s cause it’s not super old. I know it’s not Rosemary’s Baby. All I can remember is that a man and a woman had a baby and it was really hard on the mom especially cause the baby was constantly crying and nothing the parents did would make the baby happy. Until one day they had to hurt and kill someone I think in self defense and the baby happened to be a witness and it started laughing and such. The parents piece two and two together after the baby goes back to crying and they end up having to hurt someone again. So they basically kill a few people and then one of the parents tries to back out and the other one kills them and after that parent gets killed, the baby stays happy. Then the surviving parent goes on a train with the baby and goes and starts their new life together.

I’ve been trying to find the name of this movie for years and I’m starting to think it was just a fever dream.

An American Comedy movie in the 90s or 2000s where one of the male stars (the lead?) is obsessed about an old girlfriend who he (wrongly) believes cheated on him. Years later he is still obsessed about the betrayal that never happened when he encounters her again, possibly at a high school reunion.

I remember a funny scene where after a lot of deliberation he tells her that he forgives her, thinking he is being magnamious, and to his shock she reacts by screaming and starts to hit him.
