Ok, so my hubby, brother-in-law, and I rented a movie from redbox in the mid 2000’s (around the time streaming was becoming big) and I gotta say, we were glad we only paid a buck for it. This movie was so bad we talked and joked through the entire thing like the robots out of MST3K. But it bothers me that none of us can remember the name of the movie or what it was about. The only thing any of us really remember was it took place is completely or mostly in a third world country and near the end this woman, American I think, was standing either topless or naked in a bunch of mud and was surrounded by young boys. Most of whom were somewhere around 12-14 years old. And they start covering her in mud and as they do so, they are groping her breasts and ass. Not sure if they were supposed to, but they were. I think this scene stuck with us because it was about the best part of the movie and the only thing even relatively exciting that happened. We kept watching hoping that it would get better at some point. That someone didn’t actually, from start to finish, make a movie that terrible. I hope someone can help, because I would really like that know what that movie was supposed to be about and what it was called. I thank you all in advance.

Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide in advance. I have been searching and searching and can’t figure out what this dumb movie is and I need help. What I remember of this movie is based on approximate age and one scene/plot point that I remember. I will describe the scene and then categorize what I remember into strong memory and weak.

A little boy, possibly between the ages of 6 and 12, has arrived at a new location. There is a caretaker figure, an older fatherly male, on the premises who is leaving for a time, possibly a season. When the family gets there, the caretaker speaks briefly to the little boy about having special powers, and tells him that he has them too. He speaks to the boy both verbally out loud and telepathically. He tells the boy that he has to learn to use his powers, and that he might need them someday. He tells the boy to scream in his mind. The boy tries and nothing happens. The caretaker reassures the boy and tells him to try again. This time, the boy screams intensely in his mind, so strong the caretaker is surprised by his level of power and something shatters in their surroundings, a taillight on a nearby car. The caretaker smiles and assures the boy that everything should be alright.

STRONG MEMORY

1. This movie would have been made in or prior to the year 2002.

2. It involves a Caucasian boy with special powers, likely psychokinetic or telekinetic.

3. The little boy is instructed by an adult male in how to use his powers.

4. When the boy succeeds, something shatters.

5. The boy is with other adults, likely family.

WEAK MEMORY

1. The caretaker may have been an older black gentleman.

2. The movie may have been a horror movie, one that involves ghosts or possession.

3. The thing that shattered when the boy screams in his mind involved glass and I recall that it may have been a taillight on a car.

4. There was a convertible or nice classic car involved in this scene.

5. The boy was to use his powers later on to ward off whatever evil the family was to face.

6. The caretaker (older instructional adult) is leaving for an extended period of time knowing that there will be hardships for the family and is instructing the boy how to defend himself.

7. May be in the genres of either sci fi or fantasy, but I remember it being “scary”.

8. VERY small possibility it is from an episode of a show.

9. The caretaker and boy may be able to communicate telepathically.

I saw this on some movie channel on DirecTV (or whatever we had then) when I was a preteen. It was shot sometime in the late 60s or 70s.

All I can remember is some woman who wakes up completely naked and starts slowing walking, trying to leave the building. She doesn’t care that she’s naked and, as she’s slowly leaving, security guards are trying to shoot and kill her but she’s either a) killing them or b) the pills can’t hit her. I can’t remember which it is. Also, if it helps, I remember her descending some large stairs in a large, open room.

I know it’s a long shot but I would seriously love some help. It’s been killing me (no pun intended) for years!

I am trying to identify several film & TV stills in a movie book (published in the US in 1965) with unlabeled pictures from various movies, serials, and a few TV programs. I managed to identify most of the stills, but a handful have eluded me.

First is a photo probably from a 1940s-50s western showing the shadows on a wall of a woman sitting up in bed and being menaced by someone with a bullwhip.

I’m not sure about the precise date I saw this movie. I was young, so it was pre 2000, I believe. It wasn’t 60ies old because I remember some half-decent equipment in it.
I remember that there was a bunch of kids at this institution and that they got this new teenager, male, dying of terminal illness, not sure which one. They connected him on some brain machine and they could see what he was seeing on the monitor. While he was on the edge of death, I remember scientists telling him go into the tunnel which they could see on the monitor, but he kept saying that he doesn’t wanna go inside because it is dark. He went there anyway and his soul got trapped inside of some giant machine which was pulsing. One of the other kids there, some little girl was yelling at scientists to let him go, synchronous with pulsing of the light of the machine. I tried manually browsing wikipedia page of scifi movies from 70ies up to now, but I can’t seem to find it. Could you please help? It would mean a lot. Thanks in advance.

My sister (1998) and i (1994) remember watching every time we were on vacation in Turkey a childrens fantasy movie about a girl always wearing a night gown, searching for a boy and collecting silver stones or crystals or buttons, i am not sure, who leads her to the boy. I think he was some kind of prince, i cant remember for sure. The girl never has shoes on, also the boy is always barefoot. I can remember the girl travelling in snow, people (or other things) stealing or ripping her clothes, getting clothes again and eventually finding the boy who is frozen. She cries thinking hes dead, but he isnt. He then fights with his sword to something… ive probably watched the movie 3 or 4 times in a row every year we came to Turkey.

The boy and girl both have blond/honey coloured hair. The scenes are very dream like. They are the age of 12-16.

We must have watched the movie in 2001/2002/2003 since my younger sister also remembers it. But the movie was very poor quality so it must be from the late 80’s or very early 90’s. Also it was translated to Turkish, but the movie itself looked very American style childrens movie.

I actually never saw the movie but I remember the trailer.

There were two teenage girls that escaped from a psychiatric hospital (pretty sure but it might have been a prison). I think they escape into a large city. I have this one quote recorded (just audio) from a long time ago.

Girl 1: “Do you think we’re psycho or are we normal?”
Girl 2: “Well we’re definitely not normal because normal sucks.”

There may have been a gun in the trailer.

I remember seeing it as a kid (mid 90s, colour).  I don’t remember much, but I do remember a few details.

1. There was a worm or bug that would burrow into people through the foot, and work its way through their body until it finally killed them.

2. When people were about to die, they would hear the sea singing to them (I seem to recall that everyone present could hear it, not just the person dying. Also not sure if that was death in general, or just death by foot-worm).

3. There were doctors who would operate on people with “magic” gloves that would allow them to reach into people’s bodies without making incisions – there was some sort of training involved, and one of the main characters failed to save someone’s life because he couldn’t get the gloves to penetrate the patient’s skin.

4. It was set in a Victorian-esque setting, with horse drawn carriages

5. There was a firm divide between an area of permanent darkness and an area of light (can’t remember if the light area ever experienced night, but the dark one would never get day)

6. There was a scene where a king (or some such prominent royalty/courtier) was assassinated by having one of the aforementioned worms inserted into his food while he was sleeping (incidentally, this is the reason I cannot to this day sleep without my feet covered. As a kid this movie freaked me out, so no matter how hot it is, my feet must be covered.)

7. I remember a conversation in a carriage about weather balloons.  I think that was near the beginning, and I have this idea that the main character is from a “normal” reality and this magical place is just as weird to him as it is to the audience.

Ok I’ve been searching for this movie for awhile now and really want to watch it !!!

I think it has something to do with jack the ripper or some legend like him.

From everything I can remember about it there are a bunch of young people that hear of a murderous legend and get stuck in a bus trying to go see for themselves.

And in the distance they notice a carnival that lights up and they go check it out , and then they get there they start seeing the said legend they heard about.

One of the deaths is that a guy climbs up the ferris wheel and then sees the legend and falls off and somehow is alive but cant move and later on dies.

Not sure on what else happens but I think two people survive .

Really hope someone can help me find this movie name as I really want to watch it again.

I have this vague memory of this movie I watched 2 or 3 times on TV. It was on a “horror” special, so I’m assuming it’s horror, but probably a mild one.

The main character (or one of the main characters) was a guy, either playing a teenager or a young adult. It was about magic or witchcraft. I remember a scene when a “demon” or something of the sorts he was fighting sends him flying and he lands on a post or something. It “stabs” him. I believe he is brought back to life. There was also a girl in this scene that rushes to him. Both very pretty.

This scene had lots of dust in it, so I believe it was set in a town, but not a city.

Because of the colours and scenes, I believe is from the early 90s. (I must have seen it back in 1996-7-8). Therefore, it must have been done more than 5 years before. It may be from the late 80s, but I don’t think so.

Also, I believe it’s an American movie. I’m 90% sure it was in English, but I watched it on national TV, so it was translated into Spanish.

I’m sorry this is all I’ve got. I’ve tried googling this info, but, of course!, nothing appears.

1950s B/W about the suburbs. Several neighbor families in a new suburb.  The families are all white but from different socioeconomic classes, professionals, tradesmen, white-collar workers all living in harmony. Not all of them have children.

One of the men, played by someone who looks a bit like Charles Bronson, is angry. The plot hinges on this.

The conflict ends as he is on his carport working under his car when the jack slips and he is crushed under the wheel. His wife and kid presumably move away, much happier now that their angry husband/father is gone, but also with trepidation because in spite of it all, they loved him and he was the breadwinner.
