Hey everyone, trying to find a movie or show that I used to watch on TV. It was probably around 96-99. The only thing that really sticks is a sex scene where the teen boy cannot open the condom, and all you hear is him rattling the wrappers over and over while the girl is waiting in the bed.

The girl is nerdy, with round glasses. The guy was an unlikely match. He was awkward and weird. The girl’s mom was a single mom and I think they got in a fight and the girl ran away with the boy to this place where they try to have sex.

I think it’s set in a big city like New York. I want to say the girl also had a sister.

I remember watching it several times and I forgot everything except that awkward sex scene 😂

Okay, so I used to have all these “family adventure collection” DVDs that came in sets of 8 and 10. For example, one collection features titles like “The Last Unicorn”, “Nico”, and “Witches”, as well as random one-offs that you don’t normally see advertised. Anyway, it was about 2018/19 that I watched it, maybe? The film is in color and English, pretty modern, and set in Australia. It starts in a school, and this classic bad boy is getting into a fight outside the front door. This classic good girl comes and tells them to break it up. You find out the girls parents are divorced (?) thinking about seperating (?) trying to work it out ish (?) there’s a scene where the dad plays a really pretty song for the girl on his acoustic guitar and he sings like her “lullaby” (she’s like 13 ish but it’s THEIR THING) and she falls asleep, anyway the boy runs away from home because he’s troubled so the girl follows him and it’s like classing ‘australian outback’ type stuff. Well, they get like horribly lost and they come across this crazy man who tries to kill the girl, and so the boy beats him up and they bond and decide to go home, but at this point, they’re lost, right? Well, anyway, during all that, the parents are bonding together to try and find the kids, the dad checks this like a washed-ashore boat he and the girl used to hang out at a lot, but they’re not there. Anyway, while the parents are trying to find the kids, they fall back in love, so that’s cool, and then the boy like realizes his parents really do love him and that he IS wanted/loved/cared about.

Film or series about 2 girl friends: one is rich with dark hair and she couldbe Jewish, one is poor. The story starts before 2WW. Rich woman marries a man, he wore military uniform, maybe was a nazi. They couldn’t have children and asked the poor girl become their surrogate mother. To do this rich woman tells her husband to make love with her poor friend, she becomes pregnant and rich woman notices that her husband has feelings to a poor woman. To save her marriage and a child she accuses a poor woman as a Jewish and sends her to getto.

This film may be Polish or in collab with other countries. I remember it as black and white, but suppose it could be also colored. I saw it on TV appr. in 1990s – 2000s

For years, I have been trying to search for the name of this particular movie on many sites and so far, none of the movie titles suggested have matched my description. No luck and help so far. I also get either wrong or no responses at all too.

I will try to be as specific as possible in here.

Here goes:

The movie looks old, possibly from the 80’s, 90’s, or 2000’s, I’m not sure. It’s an American sci-fi movie in English I saw on TV in color twice in my adolescence.

In the movie, a scientist is in love with a beautiful women with blond hair who appears to be somewhat imaginary and ghost-like wearing a white dress but real nonetheless. He has a rival scientist whom he forces to cancel some sort of rocket launch. At one point, the rival scientist was seen with his driver holding his enemy and his friend at gunpoint unaware that it was all being recorded on camera.

After they escape with the help of the scientist’s ghostly girlfriend, the hero tries to stop his rival from launching something but finds himself facing the driver while the rival leaves to continue to his point of destination. Then when the rival scientist is at the conference and after the good scientist has subdued the driver, some reporters show the footage involving the gunpoint scene to everyone and they mention at one point that he actually “discovered New Jersey” rather some new planet.

At the end, after the rival scientist has been arrested, the good scientist closes his eyes and uses a special somewhat magic, space stone to turn his beautiful, somewhat ghost-like, imaginary woman girlfriend whom he is in love with into a real woman at the end of the movie.

hi I don’t know if it’s a movie or a tv but I remember a scene of it

What i remember is a male living his life but something happens and it turns out at the end that he is in a simulation and his actually body is dead but his upper body is still connected to some machines somewhere and there are people doing experiments on his upper body and consciousness. A woman who works there feels bad for him after something happens to him in the simulation and runs to where his upper body is and disconnects it so he can finally have a peaceful death. That is everything I remember.

Please help me to remember the TV film. I saw it on tv in the middle of 2000s. I guess it was an antology at least of 2 stories.

Both of stories take place at the end of 19 century or at the beginning of 20

1. First story I can’t remember in details but there was a man in the boat after a shipwreck or something like this and there were strange things happening to him (timeshifts or kinda like that). Eventually he made it through.

2. More details about this one. Women looked through a telescopic tube to some planet (Mars or Moon whatever) and she saw there pyramids or some strange constructions on the dunes. Suddenly on the planet appeared the alien. The telescope tube made zoom in to the alien and women ended up teleported to some chamber on this planet. She was alone in this chamber/solitaire, she scared and she cried. The camera made zoom out and we see that there are other chambers with scared people.

AI told me that this is “The Martian Chronicles” 1989, but it’s not definitely

I’m trying to remember a movie I saw sometime in the 90s (or early 2000s). I think it was a German film, possibly a comedy or something offbeat/romantic.

There’s one particular scene I remember vividly:

• A man and a woman are sitting in a neon-lit nightclub or bar, with blue and pink lighting.
• They’re eating pizza or something casual.
• She asks him: “What’s your biggest and most secret dream?”
• He answers, completely seriously: “Lying naked at the North Pole.”
• It becomes clear that although he’s very handsome (tall, blond, well-built), he’s also pretty simple-minded or naïve.

I can’t remember much else – possibly some romantic or ironic vibe.

I remember a scene from a movie, early 80’s I think. I thought it was called the Avenger. The protagonist gets captured and is tied to a post in a barn or cellar and the female antagonist attempts to seduce him and tries to kiss him.

At the end scene there’s a fight going in a hi-tech reactor installation or something. I remember there being a balcony. The male villain needs a password for something. After beating the male protagonist, he tells him the password is “Crystal”, villain tries to use it and fails access, maybe he dies because of it? Then make protagonist jokes with female protagonist, whose name is Krystal “it was Krystal with K”. Live‑action film I watched on TV in English circa 1990s or early 2000s.

I watched it online around 2016 or so (probably before that). It was in English.
It’s about a boy who lives with his mother. He has a girlfriend (a brunette girl, kind of dark-skinned).
One day, he gets angry and kills her by smashing her head.
Then, his mother takes the body to a chamber with black liquid, submerges the girl in it, washes her, and brings her back to life — but she doesn’t remember anything.
The boy does this over and over: kills her, and his mom revives her.
But eventually, the girl starts remembering little by little…
In the end, she kills the boy and escapes.

I remember the film showed how they met, and some of their relationship before the killings started.
It looked kind of low-budget or indie.

In this movie, I remember there was an scene when something very heavy fall onto a man, crushing half of his body, and this strong man came along to help him get out.

It is a movie from the 70’s.

When I was a kid, probably 1989-1991 or so, we rented a movie from a local convenience store where these travelers(maybe three of them) were on a planet that kind of looked like the moon. There was an opening in the ground with a staircase coming up from below. The staircase looked like it connected to an underground city and was probably just how they accessed the underground city. The travelers were standing at the top of the staircase awaiting somebody’s arrival. Inside the stairwell was a bright light and this character begins coming up the stairs. As the character gets further up the stairs you can see she has a black, vinyl dress on like a emo version of a queen’s dress except the breasts are fully exposed. As you can imagine, my parents cut the movie off right there so I didn’t get to finish watching it. I’ve searched and watched just about every 80s-90s sci-fi movie I can find. It could be an older movie like early 80s but this store was known for having new releases so it’s hard to say. This scene likely occurred in the first 15-20 minutes because I can’t remember anything else about it. Thanks in advance!
