I regret to announce that I won’t be renewing the irememberthismovie.com domain when it expires on June 28, 2026.

It has been a great run, and the site served the purpose I created it for. The landscape of the Internet has changed, however. This site was founded before the dominance of mega-social media platforms, reddit, and widespread artificial intelligence. These developments have made crowdsourced movie-identifying platforms like this one far less useful. Also, less profitable. At the beginning, this site paid for itself with ad revenue. Now, it does not.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed and helped others rediscover forgotten movie titles.

You may still post questions, answers, and comments up until the lights turn out at the end of June.

366 Weird Movies will continue indefinitely—but we won’t be answering movie memory questions there.
