I saw part of this movie on cable about 3-4 years ago.  It’s scripted, but shot in an almost cinema verite style.  Or parts of it anyway.  A mother and father in their 50s take their daughter and head across country in their car to find their son/brother.  The thing I remember most is that the father and mother bickered a lot and the father always was chewing a straw…and wearing a ball cap I think.

The other distinctive thing about it was the style.   A lot of it is played like a documentary almost.  Long conversations…long takes with handheld.

Not much to go on I know, but does anyone know this one??
