I can’t remember the name of a movie I watched before.

There was a man who had to go to his honeymoon on an island (or just resort) only for couples. When he waited his wife at the airport somehow he realised she left him just few days after wedding.

Anyway he travelled to the resort. They tried to deny him to enter due to he is single, but after he cried and pleased them they agreed.

At the resort he slept with few ladies and he had troubles with their husbands. After all his wife decided to go to the resort to relive there releationship but she caught him with few women at the time.

I suspect it was a comedy made before the millenium – maybe from 80’s or 90’s.

Movie is fairly old (I saw it in 2006, may already have been out for a while before that). Best way I can describe it is if a group of college film students made a superhero movie with no budget.  The movie was set on a college campus, everything was pretty ridiculous and the movie was mostly about weird superhero/supervillain type characters randomly fighting each other.  Think a cross between avenger and fight club if the entire budget for the movie was $12.

I vaguely remember the “final fight” of the movie involved defending a sapling tree that had just bee planted, but that’s about it.

I believe I saw this short scifi film on Youtube, specifically DUST. Others think they saw it on FB.  Plot – earth is  about to die; last ditch effort many, many ships are sent out to search for a new planet where humanity can live; the last viable ship finds one just as his supplies are about to run out; it’s perfect, earth like before humanity screwed it up; he has a signaling device to inform earth; he is by a stream; he thinks about the paradise he’s found; he thinks about what humanity did to earth; he does not tell earth saving paradise and condeming humanity to its fate on earth.  I really want to find this film.  Any help?

I remember seeing this years ago. The protagonist worked in a factory in Britain, he had a make work job of cleaning one toilet, the rest of the day he just hung around. I think it was a futuristic satire. He figured out he could grow mushrooms on the steam pipes. Ended with a big hallucinatory scene.

I was having a discussion about how prevalent rape culture and misogyny in general was (and still is).  I don’t remember if this was a movie or a television show.  It was at least 20+ years ago, maybe 30+.  I remember a young man being given advice on how to “court” a young lady.  He was told that when she said, “No” he should keep going because once he had sex with her she would like it and ‘poof’ he has won her over.  I believe it was her apartment when he was ripping her clothes off and she was fighting back.  Then a heavy television was knocked off the tv stand and she caught it.  He was elated because now her hands were occupied and unable to hit him.  With her hands occupied holding the television, he made quick work of removing her clothing.  Then, quick cut to the next scene, they are laying together, both with smiles on their faces.  His prowess in bed apparently made her forget about being raped.  Anyway, even as a young man, I knew this was wrong, but it was the culture of the day.  So glad we are now moving in the right direction as a society.
