I think it was 70s/early 80s horror movie. It was on a late night sci fi/horror show called High Adventure.  I remember people going to a resort type place (maybe an island) through jungle type trees in a golf cart. There was a tree that “sneaked” a branch/vine into a room and grabbed a woman and “ate” her.  The end was a man cutting it down and blood gushing out. I think there were flowers on it that had the people faces that it ate. I was real young so… I’ve been trying to solve this for years. HELP!
