Okay so I was really little, and my dad was flipping the channels and it landed on this one movie, my memories are vague, but I’ve been trying to know what movie it was for ages. So this is all I remember, there was this little blonde child I think she was blonde, anyway she was given as a gift to a rich girl her age, and then there was this wizard or old guy looking for a special child. He goes to the house of the rich girl cause I think he sensed a special child there  but whe. He got there and met the rich spoilt girl he realized that she was not special. While the rich girl was showing the wizard/old guy her room, in the corner he saw the blonde girl (she was in a pink dress I think) and he went to talk to her cause I think he realized she was the special one. But then the rich girl slapped the blonde one. That’s all I remember (also I can’t be sure but I think the old guys had a staff). I saw this movie early 2000 it was on TV in color . If someone could tell me which movie it is please.
