The son, who is the protagonist of the movie, tense his arm and puts his hand on his father’s shoulder, asking him to play the violin. In my memory, his father is deaf. Still even the audience can hear the melody he is playing with an imaginary bow on his son’s arm.
The movie is quite recent, should be American movie (or maybe I am totally wrong and it’s an Italian movie – I am italian) and I don’t think this scene has much to do with the plot. I think it’s just something cute that somehow is stuck in my head.
Thank you.
“Corrina, Corrina” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109484) – the scene happens near the end of the movie between Ray Liotta and Don Ameche.
