I only remember the beginning of the film.
It starts with the police searching a house. One of the two policemen finds out that they are in the wrong house. He or his friend hides a bag of cocaine in the house to cover up the mistake and the owner of the house is sentenced to prison. I also remember the two policemen harassing the owner’s wife.
“Nightmare at 43 Hillcrest” (1974 TV movie)?
It first aired as an episode of ABC’s Wide World of Mystery, and was later released on video. It was based on a true story.
I think it was heroin instead of cocaine, but otherwise it sounds the same. The full movie can be found on YouTube. I posted it below.
