European movie about a guy who makes guilty people commit suicide by hearing the music – set during WWII

I’ve been looking for this movie for 10/15 years. I saw it on TV in the early 2000’s (French TV – Arte) and I think it was a TV movie, not a cinema movie. Although I saw it in French, I don’t think it’s a French movie, maybe a multi-national one, and it might be from the 90’s although I’m not sure.

Anyway. It starts in the 80’s, where an old man starts remembering when he was young, in Vienna, during WWII. We’re transported then and there, and most of the story is set up in a bar/restaurant owned by Jewish who are conceiling it mostly because a lot of the customers are SS soldiers. The main plot of the story is that the man plays the piano in that bar (he’s not Jewish, if memory serves) and that his music is very special and a bit magic because it runs deep into the soul of people, and especially those who made terrible things in their lives, and those people end up committing suicide; I think it becomes a strategy to kill nazis.

I can’t remember most of the movie, just that there is some kind of love triangle, and that at the end the bar is raided by the nazi because they discover that it’s owned by Jewish people, and the three main characters (the love triangle) run in the streets and I think that one or two of them get killed, but obviously not the one who plays the piano and remembers that story 40 years later. The movie ends back in the 80’s, in some sort of opera, where the protagonist starts playing the piano and I kind of remember (but maybe I’m wrong) that there is a former nazi among the spectators who ends up committing suicide (or at least it is suggested).

Someone help?

Independent american movie about a coffee shop

I remember this movie that I watched a year ago or so. I stumbled upon it completely by chance, and I can’t for the life of me remember its name.

It’s in a coffee shop, at the end of the day, and there are two young barristas, a boy and a girl. We understand that they are together and the guy is trying to propose to the girl. We also understand that it’s the girl’s birthday and that she really wants to close up early so that she can enjot it. Unfortunately, a lot of customers come in and they have a hard time getting them out. The whole fim is about the lives of the customers, watched by the two barristas. There is a man and a woman having an affair and while they’re in the bathroom having sex, their respective spouses come in looking for them. There is a couple therapist who does his session by skype. There are three young girls spending the evening gossiping on there friend who is disgustingly perfect. There are two men and two women, apparently co-workers, who talk about death and the after-life. There is a suicidal girl, a friend of the barristas, who end-up enjoying a conversation with a guy who seems to be even less lucky than her.

This is a very nice movie but absolutely unknown, and I remember checking it on the internet afterwards and not finding it anywhere except for a short synopsis on imdb or something. I think it’s quite recent. Oh, and I’m pretty sure Thom Barry acts in it (one of the co-workers), or at least an actor who looks like him.

Would someone know which movie I’m talking about?
