i am looking for a movie title for a movie that was in the late 80’s-early 90’s I think. All I remember is it was in color. And the man kept going into an apartment complex and it kept turning into a jungle. Where he would get shot at. I don’t remember why Or anything else.

Sounds like House…but it’s a house (obviously), not an apartment complex. He keeps getting transported back to his time in Vietnam, among other odd occurrences.
Troll however is in an apartment complex, which turns into more woods than jungle, but nobody gets shot at.
