Sometimes during 1960’s or 70’s I saw a movie where a woman sang a song that as far as I can remember told about wine and roses. The movie was perhaps black and white. She was wearing an old fashioned long, tight dress and a big hat. It was like she was on a stage or something. I always thought she was Jeanne Moreau but I’m not sure. Perhaps she was french, singing in English in a husky voice? I cannot remember very well, because I was just a child at that time. Makes me crazy that I can still remember the tune but not much else.
