What movie is this? Looking for a movie but only remember a certain scene. The scene is the first scene in the movie. A kid shows up to school with (some kind of science project) a shoebox. He tells two girls to look inside of the box through the peephole. When they look inside they see a cut open yet alive mouse screaming. Please help find movie.. should be old.

The movie you are talking about is Amusement (2008). About half way thru the movie the main character of the movie (young woman) has a flashback to the scene you are describing.

I remember that scene so vividly because I found that movie to be a little unnerving but enjoyed watching it years ago when I was younger myself.
