Scene: In a restaurant, male recognises another male, but denies he’s that person (although he is)
Can’t remember if an undercover cop or just someone who doesn’t want his identity known.
The other guy might’ve got roughed up by him or an acquaintance who whispered something like “it’s not him” or “he’s working”

I’m sure there is another scene similar in a restaurant where a guy sees someone who doesn’t want to be recognised and is quickly dismissed to keep incognito. Any help with this one would be appreciated
