I saw the movie in the 1980s. A guy leaves this home to go get supplies for his family. They are not poor and live in a big city. It is very cold so he puts on a jacket. He walks over to a long line and at the end of the line he recognizes people he knows while talking to them. Another guy tells them hey the line keeps going and he looks and it wraps around the block. He comes home later with this big cold on his wife, kids and grandparents. Just looking at them. Looks like he has nothing. Danny pulls out a bunch of toilet paper rolls and everyone starts rejoicing.
