Hi guys!

I’m looking for a movie, quite possibly a Treasure Island adaptation, but not sure. I’ve searched and searched but I can’t seem to find it. Anyways here is a description:

I rented a VHS when I was a kid – we are talking 1995 to 2000.

It’s definately a cartoon with pirates. Definately colour and in English.

What I remember most vividly is that when it started the main character (a boy with possibly a pet) was sailing in a barrel, which was modified. As in the top opened and closed and had a mini sail. At some point pirates saw it and blew it out of the water and our character join the pirate crew. I remember a couple more bits like the ship they joined fighting a bigger ship at some point and losing, but that’s about it.
