what movie is that?

that’s the basic plot the girls brother took care of her and i remember a seen the father pointing a shotgun to his grown up daughter

I saw this movie around 1988-1990.   It aired in the US on the Disney Channel, but I don’t think they made the movie.

It was about a girl (and her friends?) in Ireland, Northern Ireland or the north of England, and she saw angels or spirits or fairies, something along those lines.  She communicate with them, but I don’t think anyone else could.

It was in color, but I remember it was pretty bleak looking.  The girl had long red or blond curly/wavy hair.

So there’s this horror movie that I saw a while ago, maybe like a few years ago, and all I remember was the ending when the girl looked out the window and saw someone (or somwthing) and picks up a knife and kills her husband. I also remember that in her family all the girls killed their husbands or something like that.

Another vague one, I’m sorry!

I remember one scene only – of a boy diving to retrieve something from a spacecraft which is underwater. He may have entered through the roof, or possibly through a damaged section. He may have had a large conch shell or similar.

I don’t recall if the boy was human or actually alien masquerading as human but I’m inclined to think the latter.

I don’t think it’s Flight Of The Navigator (since the craft there is captured) or either of the Cocoon films.

This was shown on TV so may have been an episode of something, but ISTR it being a movie. I also remember it being in colour but it could have been B&W with colour added later.

The only details I remember was the use of what I think were cardboard cut-outs for humans transformed (drained? sucked dry?) by some alien influence, and the presence of some small black objects (small rocks? football sized or a little bigger) littering the area (desert/scrub IIRC, maybe South West US states).

It’s not Monolith Monsters or It Came From Outer Space as I’ve checked both.

I can’t recall if what I watched was for a mini series, or a movie coming out, but it was when Myspace was bigger than facebook. I believe myspace was helping promote the project.

The one scene I remember was a group of people being hooded, pulled out of a van and led into a basement. The focus was on a male and female character, I don’t recall if they were siblings or a couple, but they were trying to escape. The teaser was only 10 minutes or so long, and was leading up to a bigger project.

I recall seeing a movie in the 1980’s about a dark city set in some futuristic setting where people were being coerced into becoming addicted to a drug that altered their sense of reality and at the end the scene panned out to show that the world they lived in was either a clock or a part in a clock.  I think the lead was someone who looked like Tom Waits.

It is a non-English language film, set in (I would guess) the Mediterranean or Middle East (lots of arid landscapes).
My guess is it was released in the 1970s but maybe the 1980s at the latest or 1960s at the earliest – I would have seen it (on TV) in the 1990s.

It had a Peir Paolo Pasolini or maybe Federico Fellini sort of look about it, but I don’t think it was any of their films.

The only scenes I remember clearly are one with a group of peasant children chasing a small herd of sheep or goats through a street or down a road and another scene with a group of people (I think this group were travelling throughout the film – maybe a pilgrimage or maybe travelling actors) dressed strangely on a rocky mountain side with some of these people then performing some sort of ritual in a cave in the mountain side.

Not very much to go on I know but it is probably more than 20 years since I saw the film and I only saw it that one time.

After a bit more film research I thought it might have been one of Fernando Arrabal’s films. But I’ve watched Viva la Muerte and J’irai Comme un Cheval Fou and it’s not either of them and I doubt it’s The Guernica Tree, based on plot synopses I’ve read.

Color, saw on television probably about 10 years ago. Only remember one scene: cloudy day in city (probably NYC), man in 18-wheeler spearheads a man in street, instantly killing him. I remember thinking that these two men were related somehow, and that the man in the car was very distraught. Full disclaimer, I was fairly young when I saw it (about 10 years old) so these details are fairly fuzzy, but that’s why I consulting you people!

okay so I can’t remember if this was a movie/show because I was young when I watched it. It was either in the 90’s or 00’s and I only remember 1 scene of the movie. Which was the humans meeting the alien in a field in a van and that the alien was short and funny looking but he was friendly and the guys where stoners.

I saw this movie on a DVD I think about around 2010 – not sure what the movie’s date was.

From memory – it was about some young teens – a blond girl is on holiday and she has a relationship with a young guy. Once again, memory is foggy, but I think there is another girl that likes the guy as well. Near the end of the movie, the three of them are in a cave and the guy stabs the first girl.

Sorry, but that’s all I can recall – would appreciate someone remembering the name of it!

In the very first scene of this movie it feature a women robbing a convenience store at gun point. While she was holding the gun up she had something like a flashback.. Later in the movie this women’s son was walking during a storm where he became in contact with his grandmother. During the conversation between the two, the grandson mention his grandmother car was a classic. It was a classic to him, but not to her because she believes she is in her timezone. The 60s. While he believe he is in his generation, 21 century. Later in the movie the son’s great grandfather was presented. He was an german war soldier with a necklace that he has passed down. The Mother, Grandmother, Grandson and Grandfather? All knew they we’re contacted because they all had the necklace and was familiar with it because it was passed down. The women who had robbed the store gave birth to her son, she died during childbirth. All four generations of the family was in a shed sorting this out at one point. Key Points : German Soldier, Necklace, Flashback into time?, Story robbery in beginning, Shed where all “found” each other, Mother to son died of child birth,
