I remember a television movie, black and white I think, from the 1960’s.  A couple was outside having a lovers’ quarrel and the girl ran away from the guy, right out into the street and into the path of an oncoming car.  The woman driving the car (maybe Jane Wyatt???) hit and killed her.  The boyfriend was so distraught, he began stalking the woman driver to kill her.  The woman lived in a high-rise apartment and I think as the stalking continued, she might have hired a detective.  The suspense builds until the end of the movie when she’s in her apartment and a note saying “Jump” is slid under her door.  The detective arrives at the last minute to save her from the stalker who wants to push her out the window to her death.  My brothers tortured me with this movie throughout my childhood by sliding “Jump” notes under my bedroom door, the bathroom, wherever I was in the house!  Does anyone remember this movie?
