This movie is in color in English and was filmed in and around Quakertown, Pennsylvania in probably the mid to late 1980’s or early 1990’s. I probably saw it in a small “indie” theater. What’s perplexing is that I know the names of two of the cast members, Czech model/actress Paulina Porizkova and musician John Popper of Blues Traveler, yet neither of their entries in IMDb lists this movie, nor can Google or Microsoft Bing seem to find it. I guess it can be described as a “rom com.” I really only remember two scenes from it: one when Paulina goes “skinny dipping” in some water at night, and the other when John is in a room with another guy discussing what was once a Quakertown phenomenon of columns of ducks crossing streets and holding up traffic. John says something like “It’s annoying to wait for them, but what are you going to do, run ’em over? What’re you, Satan?” or words to that effect. (I think I even remember the microphone boom being visible in the shot.) Even though I don’t remember the title, I recall that it was a trite expression, like “Just One More Thing” (which is the title of another movie) or some such. A more memorable title would have been “Czech Chick Goes Skinny Dipping…..” I hope someone can reassure me that my memory is not a dream or something! For those who have been in Quakertown, I recall one exterior shot being of Lucky’s Bar, although I was never inside it, so I can’t vouch for the interior shot….
The only movie that Paulina Porizkova and John Popper both appeared in is Blues Brothers 2000.
Just for the Time Being (2000) was filmed in Quakertown and credits John Popper.
