I remember that it’s an old movie, perhaps from the 80’s? The only scene I can remember is one where a man triggers some sort of trap thinking it’s something else and it stabs him? It uses his blood to summon some sort of god or titan. This has been bugging me for ages!
That sounds like Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonautsauce or Hercules. Clash is my first guess.
