I saw this movie probably 10 years ago? I’m 19.

I only remember the ending. There is a man (kind of resembles tom hanks maybe) and he is talking to a young boy. The boy is holding something like a bowl or a marble? Anyways they are sitting by a large window inside of a contemporary house, saying their goodbyes. I believe they are in a kitchen area. Then the older man walks outside towards an airplane. That’s all I remember.
