I believe the movie was made in the 90’s. It is a love story of sorts, a young man & woman are doing their doctor internship in a hospital. One of the male teaching doctors is dating a intern that is swept off her feet by a intern in her class and the teacher wants to fail him out of despite and jealousy. in one scene the 2 interns go downstairs to the basement in a utility room to have sex.the intern winds up winning her over and at the end of the movie they are moving furniture and box’s into his apartment moving in together. I think the title has the word Anatomy in it but not sure.
Could be “Gross Anatomy”
with a young Matthew Modine.

This sounds like “The Interns” (1962). It’s was made no where near the 90s but worth a shot.
