Alright after hours of brainstorming and searching I’m still coming up empty so let’s hope strength in numbers will prove true for me here, the movie was post 2000’s, maybe 2003-2010, I know there’s a few big name actors but the faces I’m remembering are blank, I’ll desceibe everything I remember from the scene
Two cops, one is a rookie I believe. There’s a perp with a gun who popped off 15 shots, while the two cops are behind a cop car for cover, the rookie tells his partner he’s going in cause he believes he’s out of bullets, before his partner is able to earn him about one more in the pipe, the rookie takes off and fortunately apprehended the perp. As he’s floating about his takedown, the partner asks why he did that, the rookie responds “he only had 15 shots” the partner grabs the perps gun from the ground and pops out the remaining bullet as he says “and one in the chamber”
i believe this is an action/comedy buddy cop style movie but I could be mistaken, I’m sure the scene played out differently but that’s the best description I have. Thank you to anyone who’s willing to try and guess this one.
