I was babysitting back in the late 70’s. Saw it on late night tv, not sure if movie or tv show. I saw it in b&w but many of the people I babysat for had b&w tvs. It was in English. I think it was about a debt collector (white male) who was really good at collecting debts, and one of the people he was collecting a debt from ending up committing suicide (possibly by jumping off a roof). I think the final scene is the collector going back to his office at night and deleting the files of all of the people he was trying to collect debts from.
