I watched a movie with my dad in the early 90’s (I believe) that was very dark and disturbing, but not scary. I was just a kid at the time so the memory is blurry. I remember a scene where the main character is running down a black machinelike hallway and smashes through a brick wall at the end. Also, one of the main “bad guys” kept telling people to “Sleep” like they were some kind of powerful being.

Again, this was a long time ago, so no idea what it’s called or even if its accurate.
