I’m almost certain this is a move, but it could be a TV series as I watched it on TV, maybe late 90’s early 2000’s. It’s about a young tech-savvy student that gets an idea in college to startup a company, I think some sort of super fast video streaming tech.  He get’s advice from some sort of professor/mentor, who ends up becoming an investor. There was a scene in a classroom where he used a trick of balancing a bunch of nine inch nails on a single head of verticle nail to demonstrate teamwork, leadership or something. I think the tech failed in the end and so did the company
