I’m almost positive I saw this movie in 1991.  If I remember correctly, it was set in the 1950s or maybe 1960s.  I remember the main character was a teen, James Dean-ish actor who I don’t recall seeing much (if any) since.

The movie was funny and the main characters were probably supposed to be 15 or 16.

I distinctly recall one character, I think he was Italian, who got drunk at a party so they rolled him up in carpet and stuck him in a corner.

He was also distinctive because he’d set a record for the number of times in a day he’d “gratified” himself.

Finally, there was a funny scene in a library when four guys had aubibly straining erections as they looked at pictures I think they’d hidden inside of library books.

I wish I remembered more, but now that I’ve tried to recall it’s driving me nuts.
