… tries rescuing her for the rest of the movie (she might have been killed)

The movie was around probably 2008-2012 and was in Japanese ( I think ) and a little girl gets kidnapped by some guy ( the mom might’ve known the guy ) and the mom goes around trying to get her back with the help of some guy and these random people that are his friends. They also keep showing where the girl is at and it’s in some fancy place near a lake. I think the girl might have ended up dying in the end… I’m not so sure about it. Sorry, I can’t remember much, it was a few years ago and my memory is really bad.
