Hello. I need help remembering one movie I watched long time ago but not from start. All I remember is that it was Asian movie, the main character worked as rickshaw driver and he somehow got into fight with Americans. I know in one scene he made deal to be a punching bag on training to one of them. Can’t remember much of plot details. I do think that he kills one of them at the end by using strangling him with chain but if I got that wrong, please forgive me as I don’t remember much of it. Please help me find this movie again.
“Fighter in the Wind”(2004)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416499/
‘Bae-dal has taken to working as a rickshaw driver, honing his fighting skills by defending Japanese women from the rapacious advances of American servicemen.’

Sorry, but I am definitely sure this is not the movie in question. I skipped to end on veoh link and ending is definitely not same, and main character looked totally different with short hair. I remember in movie I watched, last fight was between Asian guy (I am not sure anymore what was his nationality but I think he was actually Japanese and not Korean) and giant American guy.
“Karate Bullfighter”(1977)?
Sonny Chiba plays a rickshaw driver at the beginning of this movie who kills an American G.I. after seeing him with a Japanese woman who he mistakes for a prostitute.
I found a scene from movie and nope, not this movie for sure. Americans in movie I watched were not G.I.
Important detail is that I remember the main character is forced to be a punching bag of the American bad guys meaning he has to let them beat him and not fight back. I don’t remember reason for it. though.
“Born to Defense”(1986)

OMG, It really is this movie. It was so long time ago and I was a kid so I could not remember language and thought it was maybe Japanese but its actually Chinese. This can be marked now as solved but please answer me one question. Is original dub of movie in Mandarin or Cantonese? I ask since I find both versions to watch and I prefer to watch original one.
Wow, I’m glad you talked me into taking another look! Glad I could help!
Wiki says Mandarin.
Good job sandnc!
