So i remember watching this movie on tv, it was in color. Near a mansion/castle/large church there was a pit people were pushed into for sacrifice. The sacrificed people found themselves in a white fuzzy tunnel, one character cut a small tentacle on the wall which caused a roar from the creature. The only other scene I think i remember is nun-like worshippers, praying in a candlelit space where part of the worm-like body of the creature can be seen.
