I saw these movies when I was a kid.

First one I remember had a scene where it was storming and lightning. The lightning hit this tree and it split open a drago came from it. If I remember correctly this was done in claymation but done very creepily.

The second movie was a sci-fi movie. The movie was in 3-D (The old blue lense/red lense paper glasses). The scene I recall took place at what appeared to be a junk yard. This guy went into the tunnels inside the piles on junk to rescue a girl from mutated/ cannibal like people. The floors a rounded out cave tunnels were made of junk.
