I Don't Know the Name... (unsolved movies)

I didn’t actually watch the movie I saw a scene as someone was skipping the channels and I would like to know what movie it is.

The scene I saw was this:

The rich guy and the servant appeared to be searching for something on the floor. The servant made a smart ass comment to the rich guy and he’s amused by this and says something like “I’ve never been talked to like that by a servant before” and she says “Well, I’m not a regular servant”

The movie looked like it could be made in the 80s or 90s but the time period was later ( not sure when).

Also the servant girl was in a pink dress and I believe she has brown hair.

I watched this movie in my film class a couple years ago. The movie was in black and white and I believe it was from the 60s maybe earlier. They spoke French in the film and a scene we watched had a couple arguing. At one point they stopped speaking and they started arguing using titles of books on the bookshelf in their bedroom.

Anyone ideas on this one?

Back to life grandmother

Solved!

So my sister has been asking me if I remember this movie and for the life of me I have no idea what she’s talking about. She recalls seeing this movie in the mid 90s in color on TV and she says it kinda reminds her of Pet Cemetery.

Here is what she remembers from the movie :

A grandmother dies and she comes back to life some how. Either her grandson raised her from the dead or she was buried in a cemetery close to his house. She says the boy might have been between 11-16.

Somehow the grandmother’s head detached from her body and the head ends up biting her grandson’s lip.

If anyone knows what this is please help,  I would love to know what she’s talking about.

Posting this again in hopes of anyone knowing this movie

I saw this horror film in the summer of 2007 I believe the movie came out around (2004-2007) and it was an American movie in color. I rented this from Blockbuster so I know for sure it isn’t an episode of a tv show.

I can’t recall any of the actors in the movie, I wanna say they aren’t well known or they weren’t well known at the time.

I’m a little bit foggy on the details so hopefully someone knows what i’m talking about.

What I remember about the movie goes like this:

It was about a teenage boy and a couple of his friends I want to say it was 2 guys and a girl. They spend the night at a friends house and they played video games for most of the night at some point they either find a book, movie, or game and start messing with it. Whatever it was that they messed with started making whatever they are afraid of appear in the house.

I think the girl (I believe she was blonde) was afraid of the dark and so the lights went out. They all got separated at some point and their fears would only appear to them, so no one else would see what they saw.

One thing I vividly remember about the movie was the boy that had the sleepover was afraid of dogs and three dogs began chasing him and he ran into the basement. I think towards the end of the movie they got rid of their fears by yelling at their fears saying it’s not real.

Any ideas?

Daughter back from the dead

I saw this movie about 2 or 3 years ago the release date is maybe 2009-2011.

It was in color and it was in english.

The movie was set in either Ireland or Scotland they definitely had accents in the movie.

What I can remember is a couple losing their daughter to some animal related injury. I believe they lived in some type of small farm town community. There was this person in town ( witch or psychic maybe) who could bring back the dead after they’ve been dead for one year. I think you’re only suppose to stay with the dead person for one day then they must go back to being dead.

I remember a ceremony taking place it was like a bonfire of some kind and that’s how the dead person was born again.

Anyone know this movie?
