I am looking for particular b & w WW2 movie that I believe was made in the mid to late 1940’s. The one scene that I remember has a soldier making his way across country with his dog. He comes by a generating station manned by the bad guys and puts his last cartridge in a keyhole, sets it off and blows up the station. I saw this as a kid at the theater.
There isn’t much info about this movie so it’s a wild guess….
“Sergeant Mike”(1944)

Thanks for the suggestion. It took a while for me to get a copy of this film but I have now seen it and, unfortunately “Sergeant Mike” is not the one I have been looking for.
Sorry I couldn’t help, but I will keep your movie on my radar.
