There’s this one scene I’ve vaguely remember from what I believe to be a movie. I would have been really young, around late 90’s, in color (I believe), and more than likely English language. I probably saw it on TV and not VHS. 

The scene is a boy riding a bike in the woods or wooded area, and there’s a tree in the way and his bike gets stuck or something- he can’t go forward. He looks up and there’s a creepy man standing there, and I got the impression they knew each other for some reason. Next thing I remember is he’s tied up in a cave or something and his dad is coming to save him and fights the creepy man. 

Not a lot to go on, but I’ve had this scene in my head for as long as I can remember and would like to finally figure out what this movie is.
