I remember watching this movie around the late 90s or early 2000s but I’m not completely sure. I think it’s a comedy.

From what I remember it’s about a middle aged man who either loses the remote control to his tv or it breaks. A salesman comes to the door to sell him a remote control to replace his. Apparently this salesman is the devil.

The man uses the remote control and he’s able to enter the different programs on the tv and he can change the channel to change situations. For example if he’s about to die in one program he can change the channel and enter another program/situation.

I specifically remember that that in one scene they enter an episode of Wayne’s World and all the characters are skeletons or zombies.

In another tv program the man runs into his real life neighbor who tells him he had also bought a remote control from a man who came to his door.
