i can’t remember if this was a tv episode or movie. In the scene the main character is being publicly humiliated and mistreated in the manner people used to ( like public executions or beatings). The main character is being unjustly mistreated. There is a kid that doesn’t get what is going on. I think the person being mistreated is being picked on for racist/ antiemetic reasons I think and the kid doesn’t get why. Then the parent basically teaches Hate to this kid and by the end of the scene the kid is screaming insults at the main character and was essentially taught this ignorant hate. Can’t remember more. I almost want to say it was a sci fi episode like doctor who where it was more allegorical but it could have been a more straightforward issue focused on race/ religion too. Can’t remember more details sorry. Pretty sure it’s from the past 25 years. I think it was British. Thanks!
