This was an old classic I saw part of on PBS one night and it had a woman who seemed to be a bit of a social climber get into a piano concert using a fake ticket because she noticed the attendant wasn’t really checking them.  She got in and someone interrupted the pianist to ask about the ticked and he was peeved.  She then met some people including an older man, his wife, and her lover who seemed very interested in the social climber all of a sudden.  The husband recognized the interest and started funding the “socialization” of the woman so his wife’s lover would move on.  I think the main character ended up falling in love with some guy that came into the picture later.  I remember another scene where she was in a hotel room and a trunk arrived that the bellhop set up for her and she asked him if the fringy dress on the end was a certain brand and he asked “You wish to put on?” and she asked him to lay it on the bed.  That’s all I remember.  Thanks in advance.
