I recall a movie in which I believe I watched in the 1980’s. I cannot recall the movie name but in the movie a man had been infected with a fatal disease. He was not affect and became a carrier but the disease was transmitted to anyone he touched who them died shortly afterwards from the effect of the disease. In the early part of the movie he come home, kisses his wife then goes in to check on his sleeping child (daughter?). He hears his wife collapse and rushes out to have her die in his arms only to then hear his child dying in the next room. He goes on the run. I believe he later finds his employer had deliberately infected him. It ends with him shaking his former bosses hand to pass along the disease as a means of revenge. What is the name of the movie?

I saw this on TV but it was a movie,  not part of a tv series.  It was in English and in color.
