Can’t recall much except a scene where a guy (supposedly German around WWI) wearing a monocle (like Laurence Olivier in “The Prince and The Showgirl”) is witnessing the torture of a girl naked sit on a chair, and after a short while starts to ask to be taken out of the place like if it is a dream or fantasy or so, because he cannot stand the situation.

Been trying for years to get the name of the movie, and all my search efforts have nor been fruitful at all.
