…days on end. They end up in a bar and the man is chased down by police and killed, the woman has his baby

I do not remember the name of this movie but it had to be made sometime between 1985-1999, color, English, American-made. I believe the woman is a well known actor, she is blonde, but that’s all I can remember about her. I saw this movie on Cinemax probably around 2010, it played a few times. The man was on the run from the cops and the woman had left her job and life and felt like she had nothing to live for, the man may have kidnapped the woman but they were held up in this tiny house in the middle of the desert for about 3 days, they had vicious fights, had very erotic lovemaking scenes, and had deep hearted talks. They trashed the place but had clearly come to some sort of understanding about each other. Toward the end, they go to a bar and start dancing slowly. Somehow the cops track the man down and he drives off (I don’t remember if the woman was with him but I believe so?)The police ultimately cause his death (if by accident or purposefully I don’t remember) Later, the woman is seen with a baby (their baby) and hence given a new purpose and happiness to live.
