OK. This movie has stayed with me for 30+ years. I remember turning on the TV as a child and seeing this freaky ass movie on. All I can remember is a kid (possibly red headed and possibly has been in other movies) in a camper in the desert. Camera turns to him and he takes a knife and starts violently slashing his throat. I believe the camera shows his mother, and she’s already dead. The scene where he his cutting his throat, I think he was smirking. Shit scared the beejebus out of me. What was the name of the movie?!?!
