I remember watching this maybe early 2000s, so it was probably a kids movie. Essentially its a movie about kids being at the snow fields (or maybe in North America in winter). There are a few elements I remember about the movie but can’t piece them together.

• There’s an evil guy (a Steve Buschemi kind of character) who wants to stop the kids playing in the snow and in one scene he wants to bulldoze the kid’s snow playground over so a kid covers himself in tomato sauce to portray blood and lies in the snow pretending to be dead to make him stop or distract him
• There also a scene where someone is watching a race on the television but it’s happening outside their window. I remember there being lots of flags.
• There’s also a scene at a pool or a snow club or something where I think the boy has finally impressed the girl.
