ok so in my memory of the movie i see these two kids and they found this silver thing ( i believe it was either a box or sphere) and they took it home. well  the object starts moving and making noise ( i think at one point it was singing?) and the kids figure out they need to open the object. So the kids go in search for a key. In the end or close to the end the kids figure out the key was inside the bunny doll the girl had.

please help this has been bugging me for a while now
