I saw a movie about 20 years ago which night have come from the late 70’s or early 80’s. It was kind of a coming of age movie about a poor young teen who just wanted so see a woman naked. He eventually saw an old black and white photo. It was a comedy I think and there’s a scene where his mother sends him to the store for a 1/4 pound of butter. Her reasoning was why have a full pound because if the house burns down it would be wasted or something like that.
