in this movie, there is a woman who works in a bar. she is married to a wheelchair-bound man who physically and sexually abuses her. he may be a local cop (i recognised the actor who plays the husband from other movies) a younger man,  a drifter type, comes to town and does some work in the bar. he and the woman have an affair.
