I saw this movie in the middle of the night in the early 80’s. This teenage girl or young woman is in this apartment with this older man. She is crying saying “I just want to go home.” The man says “You take your car kid.” Then he shoots her this really evil look. Sound familiar?

I think there’s a scene like that in “Shattered Innocence.” It’s a movie about a young woman who moves from the midwest to California and starts making porn, doing drugs, and other things her family disapproves of. She is depressed and sad a lot of the movie, and her parents are continually trying to get her to come back to them, but they are so ashamed of her porn she won’t go home. I think one of the porn producers/directors (?) says that to her, implying she’s never really going to leave because she’s not strong enough. He makes it kind of a challenge, knowing she’ll never accept it.
I’m not positive, though. It’s an old memory and after a while, all those made-for-tv-young-woman-makes-very-bad-choices movies start to run together.
