A long long time ago I saw a trailer on YouTube for a movie or a short where apparently a girl enters this fantasy realm, maybe through a portal; anyway, I remember at one point she wanders a bit through this dilapidated corridor or hallway.
But the shot that stayed with me since was the last one, where the girl approaches, I think, a woman that has her back turned to her, and this woman then slowly turns towards the camera revealing she has a pig face sewn onto her own, and the trailer ends.
I have a hunch that the movie’s name might be structured like “The X and the Y”, like “The Pit and the Pendulum”. I’m almost 100% sure it was released before 2010.
There was a Twilight Zone episode in 1960 that had a scene like you described. The episode is called “The Eye of the Beholder” Google that and you will find some still images.
Thanks, David, but that isn’t it; it was something more recent and in color. I’d put it in a window of maybe from 1990 to 2010.
