Young girl mentions ‘riboflavin’ (this was my first memory of the movie when I was starting to remember a little bit)

She might’ve been looking at a cereal box when saying ‘riboflavin’, I’m not too sure.

Sonny (pronounced ‘sunny’) – name of main character (who says the line above) or the name of her friend (I think that was one of the names? I don’t remember)

The main character has dark hair, either brown or black, leaning more towards brown, maybe.

This following paragraph in the movie is near or at the start of the movie.

The main character (the young girl) is new to the school, I think? She doesn’t have any friends so she’s looking for people to hang out with and she finds a group of emo/goth dressing girls who her friend (in this group) smokes. She is offered a smoke; I think she might’ve turned it down. I’m pretty sure that friend has really dark brown or black hair (now I’m thinking maybe black hair), and a fringe. She might possibly have a New Zealand accent.

The main character becomes friends with this group of girls, especially with the one who has the accent. I think she starts to dress like them too, to fit in?

I think the girl who she becomes friends with lets her borrow a spare school uniform and gives her a place to stay?

I think there might’ve been a scene in the movie where the main character, her friend, and their friends approach to a club, but they’re underage (possibly her friends might’ve been of age but the main character wasn’t, because she’s a bit younger than them?) They try to lie to the (bouncer?) to get in?

Her friend dies near the end? I think?
