Hey guys! So this was some late 80s or early 90s movie about a kid who gets pulled into an adventure. His mom is a workaholic- it ends with him making it back to the real world and his mom coming home saying something like, “I was at work giving my presentation and they asked what my greatest achievement was- and I said my son” And I remember the fantasy world having a vey swashbuckling feel- at one point this handsome main guy and a blonde princess and a few other characters are buried up to their necks in sand and the guy (who’s up until now had a pretty feisty, sarcastic relationship with the girl) starts confessing his love to her – and then they escape from the sand and he gets all embarrassed.
